SALT LAKE CITY, UT, UNITED STATES, August 20, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Author and leadership consultant David R. Ibarra today announced the September 14, 2026, release of his new book, The Power to Think, The Power to Rise, alongside a companion documentary premiering in late 2026.

The book follows Ibarra alongside three other men — Mickey Ibarra, Dr. José Antonio Calzada, and Lionel Sosa — through the choices and the thinking that carried each of them from modest first quarters to the fourth quarter of an extraordinary life. The book gives each man his own Part, then closes with a shared final chapter built around a single dinner, where Ibarra asks each of the other three the same question: What would you tell your eighteen-year-old self, if you could?

That same dinner, filmed for the companion documentary, will serve as the film's opening scene when it premieres in late 2026 — giving readers of the book the chance to watch the very conversation that closes it.
